Franklin, NC (November 28, 2024) – A Beechcraft B300 King Air 350, operated by Barrel King LLC, veered off the runway while landing at Macon County Airport (1A5) around 10:19 a.m. local time. The incident occurred during a landing attempt on Runway 7 and resulted in the aircraft coming to rest on the taxiway. The pilot, the sole occupant of the aircraft, escaped unharmed. There were no other injuries reported.
