Santa Cruz, Bolivia – December 5, 2024  A TAB Cargo flight operating as 2L755 encountered a landing incident at Santa   Cruz-Viru Viru International Airport (VVI) early Thursday morning. The   McDonnell Douglas MD-10-30F, registered as CP-2791, sustained minor damage   after shredding multiple tires on its main landing gear while landing on   Runway 34.     The aircraft, manufactured in 1988 and operating as a dedicated cargo flight,   had departed earlier from La Paz-El Alto Airport (LPB). Fortunately, no   injuries were reported among the crew, and there were no fatalities. Ground   operations were temporarily affected, but airport authorities quickly managed   the situation, ensuring the safety of personnel and maintaining minimal   disruption to scheduled flights.
