Learjet 35A Crashes at Scottsdale Airport, One Fatality Reported

Scottsdale, AZ – February 10, 2025 – A Learjet 35A, registered as N81VN and operated by Chromed in Hollywood Inc., was involved in an accident at Scottsdale Airport (SCF) at approximately 14:38 local time. The aircraft veered off the left side of the runway after landing on runway 21, striking a parked Gulfstream 200 (N199DF). The crash resulted in one fatality, while three other occupants sustained injuries of varying severity. A tragic plane crash near Fullerton Municipal Airport on Thursday afternoon resulted in the deaths of two onboard and injuries to 19 people in a commercial warehouse. Incident Details At approximately 2:09 p.m. on January 2, 2025, a Van’s RV-10 aircraft crashed into a warehouse located in the 2300 block of Raymer Avenue, just half a mile from Fullerton Municipal Airport (FUL/KFUL). The crash occurred moments after the aircraft took off, with the pilot attempting an emergency return to the airport due to unspecified issues. The impact caused a massive fireball, captured by security cameras, with thick smoke and bright orange flames engulfing the crash site.
