Cessna 340A Crash Near Midwest National Air Center - resulting in two fatalities.

Mosby, Missouri – A privately owned Cessna 340A (N888MT) crashed during approach to runway 18 at Midwest National Air Center Airport (KGPH) on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, resulting in two fatalities. The twin-engine aircraft, manufactured in 1979 and configured with a RAM VI conversion, was on a flight from Fayette, Missouri (FYG) to Mosby (KGPH) when the accident occurred. Sequence of Events At approximately 11:58 local time, the Cessna was executing a left base to final turn for runway 18. Witness reports and ADS-B tracking indicate the aircraft descended rapidly before impacting terrain just short of the runway threshold. The aircraft came to rest upright but was immediately consumed by a post-impact fire. Both the pilot and passenger perished at the scene.
