A Cessna 152, operated by Alchemist Aviation Pvt Ltd with registration VT-TAJ, crashed under unknown circumstances near the Chandil Dam, approximately 25 km northwest of Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, around 11:10 AM local time.

The aircraft was on a training flight and had taken off from Jamshedpur-Sonari Airport. Unfortunately, both occupants—an instructor and a student pilot—tragically lost their lives in the accident, and the aircraft was completely destroyed.
