Norse Atlantic Airways Completes Historic Charter Flight Between Norway and Darwin, Australia

Norse Atlantic Airways successfully completed a historic nonstop charter flight from Oslo, Norway, to Darwin, Australia, marking the first such route in aviation history. The flight, brokered by Aircontact and chartered by Albastar S.A., was operated using a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. The 16.5-hour flight covered approximately 14,730 kilometers, highlighting the aircraft's efficiency, range, and environmental benefits. XB-1 Completes Second Flight


Boom's XB-1 supersonic demonstrator aircraft has successfully completed its second test flight, marking significant progress towards the return of civil supersonic travel. During the flight, the landing gear was retracted and extended for the first time, and a new digital stability augmentation system was successfully tested. The XB-1 reached 10,400 feet at speeds of 277 mph, with further tests planned to prepare for its first supersonic flight.
