Osaka, Japan – A United Airlines Boeing 737-824 (registration N39297) operating as flight UA32 from Tokyo/Narita to Mactan–Cebu diverted to Kansai International Airport on Friday, September 12, 2025, following a fire alarm in the aft cargo compartment while cruising at 34,000 feet south of Japan. Agricultural Plane Crash in Fernandópolis Results in Pilot's Death

A tragic accident occurred on Thursday involving an Air Tractor AT-602 aircraft registered as PP-PLR, operated by Fama Aviação Agrícola Ltda. The agricultural plane, which was newly manufactured in 2024 (MSN: 602-1376), crashed under unknown circumstances while performing an aerial operation in Fernandópolis, São Paulo. Unfortunately, the sole occupant of the aircraft, the pilot, was killed in the crash.

The accident happened during the manoeuvring phase of an agricultural operation. Witnesses reported that the cropduster had flown over the designated area four times before the crash. The exact cause of the accident remains unclear at this time.

The aircraft was destroyed upon impact, marking a devastating loss for both the operator and the community. No other injuries or fatalities were reported on the ground.
