A tragic accident occurred earlier today at the La Axarquía-Leoni Benabu Airfield in Vélez-Málaga, Andalusia, when a Bellanca 8KCAB Super Decathlon crashed during an aerobatic display. The sole occupant of the aircraft, the pilot, lost their life in the crash.

The aircraft, registered as EC-NSJ and operated by the Real Aeroclub de Málaga, was performing aerobatic maneuvers when it went down.
